Right now, they are all hoping they don’t get us in round one.

And they are right to be afraid. Everyone structures their defense to shut Love down. Has not gone well. Playing at its best, this is a tough team to stop. LFG Irish.

And fuck Finebaum, just incidentally.

Love to see the Miami groupies whining.

We resemble that 2002 USC team

Started out with a couple of close losses against good teams, but finished strongly, especially crushing us (we were #7 at the time) at the end of the regular season.

Based on how everything was clicking in the 2nd half of that season, I believe that 2002 USC team would have solidly beaten anyone out there at the end, whether it be Ohio State or Miami.

Exactly. This might be the best team we have had in a very long time.

And next year will be just as good. Maybe better.

So much talent, speed and depth. And an offense

But, I agree w/ the TV booth that we are going to need FGs at some point vs the playoff opponents.

When was the last time the Irish made a FG? Anybody remember? And, on the lighter side, someone chimed in that our last play of the game defense has to improve. LOL

It’s been 5 games
