I don't know who watches or doesn't. It matters not. This goes beyond those two networks.

The relevance of the current conference structure becomes increasingly apparent with each passing week. If you want to have conferences, you have to run it like the NFL and see based on record not a title game. But $$$.
ND had foresight to stay independent. It's everyone else trying to fit a square peg into a round hole. What's more important? Being the best team or winning your conference? Those two aren't necessarily equal. Also, there could be an incentive to go for the CFP and skip the conference championship.
It's dumb.
