How fungible are Jerimayah Love and Jadarian Price?

If the number of touches for the players was reversed, would Price have Love type stats?

My bias: I see Price playing at the same level as Love.
Both of those guys exhibit Saquon-like strength and quickness..
The media focus on Love discounts Price's equivalent ability from my PoV.

Price is the more complete back but Love is flashier.

before Love got to ND but once I saw Love I knew he had it all. People talk about how he shows power now too, but if you look at his carries his freshman year he nearly always squared his shoulders and finished his runs strong.

Love as a runner is a modern day Gale Sayers. Price is Priest Holmes/ DeAngelo Williams type

Love could have a remarkable career if he goes to the right team. Price will probably work in any offense and have a DeAngelo Williams to Priest Holmes type career. Love's ceiling is high. If he ends up in a bad offense with no creativity or an OC that uses him like Denbrock in wk 1...he may not see anything near that ceiling.

Yep surrounded by a team like what Barkley has or Gibbs has and Love will be one of the best

Love is a superstar.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

Yea never understood the comp to McFadden. Stiff, upright not nearly as agile as Love. Ran on rails.

selling them? I mean it’s not like a Di Vinci in Milan or an original blue period Picasso but pretty good wallet for both of them. Do they come as a pair? If so, Sotheby’s might be interested in a deal.

Price is a very good back! Love is in the same class as Saquon, OJ and Walter Payton!

Slight edge to Love, but Price is close. He fumbles more, and haven't seen him catch balls as much.

In close quarters running, I might even give the edge to Price, although I think Love has narrowed this gap during the course of the season as he's worked on patience and hitting the hole versus relying on acrobatics. I think Love blocks a bit better, but that's also close. Kudos to the RB coach for helping them both develop.

The negative you can't prove is how good either would be without the other. I think they both do well because they aren't taking 100% of the plays. RB is grueling when you are it. So, hard to say how it would impact either if they were a full-time back.
