Did anyone on this board happen to catch Garret's asinine comment toward Aeneas Williams? It was in

the 4th Q, and I'm paraphrasing: "Aeneas Williams had a breakout season last year but this year, not so much." Are you kidding me? The very next play he broke off a 30 yarder for a score. IMO he's made the most of his opportunities BEHIND Price and Love. I was dumbfounded by the comment.

I like the fact we haven't over-rotated this year. In the past we spread the carries too thin.

It wasn't meant to cut Williams down it was just said to state a fact that Freeman has played Love

and Price to take advantage of the two of the three best runners in the country in the lineup as much as possible. Garrett actually showed respect for Williams and I expect he will be dynamic next year.

He stated fact, and did not disparage Williams about why it is so- the reason is obvious &not

A little sensitive huh?

Thread Level: 2

Not to mention he's been injured since fall camp. Had been wearing a massive arm brace

It's safe to say most posters on this board know more about the ND football team and its players than do the analysts who get paid to know.

Williams is stuck behind two of college football's best runners, and has nothing to do with him having an off season.

He has responded well with every opportunity, and I suspect he will be in the mix next year in a big way.

He’s right. Not sure what is asinine.

Williams played more last year.

Thread Level: 3

Agreed. A Williams was awesome last year and got alot of PT. However, this year, few carries...

Williams hasn't played because the RB coach only plays two.

Williams only chance to play this season is via injury.

He should start next season.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

I like this strategy when our two backs are this good. No need to take touches away unless you
