If both win their conference championships (a decent possibility) and there are no upsets of so-far sure-thing teams, ND is out.

This might be a season where no conference championship game for ND hurts them.

We need West Virginia to pull off an upset today.

ND has won 9 in a row since losing to two top teams and will hopefully win #10 this evening. They

are one of the best and most exciting teams in the country with a huge following. They generate a ton of revenue which is largely what this playoff is all about anyway. The committee knows all of this. Like it or not, agree or not, college football is always better when ND is a major factor. I say without hesitation that ND will get in.

Worry about what we can control. If we get bounced, so be it. The Committee has been "fair" to us.

At least in the sense that we have a good shot to make it. Sometimes the stars align against you. In this case, the stars being the major conferences who want the revenue and the personalities who want the clicks.

Imposing corporate abuse, neglect and greed on deserving victims.

Right on the edge. We need things to go certain ways. Happens that there are more scenarios we get in than left out and we control one small part of that by winning tonight. A Texas win last night increases the percentages of the left out scenarios.

Those doomsday scenarios will leave us out. No way around it.
