Assuming AL beats Auburn today, and Oregon and Oklahoma win.
I doubt MIA and TX pass us unless we win an ugly/close game tonight.
Anyone of these scenarios has ND in the playoffs:
1. Alabama loses tonight
2. Oregon loses tonight
3. Oklahoma loses tonight
4. Texas Tech wins it's conference
5. Miami goes to the conference championship game and wins. For that to happen, all it takes is two of the following today : Duke loses to Wake Forest; SMU loses to Cal; or Virginia loses to Virginia Tech.
Correct me if I'm wrong. Oh and of course, ND has to win convincingly tonite.
If we don’t cover the spread tonight Miami likely passes us. Best we go up by >=35 at the half and leave starters in until we go up another score before letting off the gas (and maybe keep the secondary in most of the second half regardless)
Especially since no one will watch the second half.
Number 4 is a probability. Number 2 is a possibility. i will hope for number 1 and/or 3 to happen but it hasn't been going well for me today so far.

Too bad, but not worth any retroactive angst.
