Yeah, even two hours early would have made a difference. The team collectively ran out of gas.
In the off-season, this is one of the things we should work on. Making sure we aren't getting hosed in some stupid way like this.
The other two are: 1. putting a bounty on that kid who intentionally kneed Love in the ribs, and 2. reviewing and identifying ACC refs who are acceptable to ref our games, or hiring our own refs. F the ACC.

Exactly. ND was the lone eastern time zone team in the slot this week. The others
were Hawaii, Wyoming, San Jose St, Fresno State, Nevada, UNLV and Stanford. Notice anything about them? This was clearly scheduling intended to be detrimental to ND’s playoff campaign.
West coast teams play at 7:30 their time.
Some posters worried that Notre Dame’s lackluster 2nd half performance would cause the committee to pass on Notre Dame. My point is that the committee will focus on the first half dominance.
Stated differently, the Irish won’t be eliminated because of the second half played after midnight. The Irish would be eliminated because of what unfolds in conference play.
