Isn't the whole.purpose of having a committee to include "the eye test"?

Wasn't the lack of an "eye test" the reason we went away from the BCS computers?

If so, then everyone (I'm looking at you Miami fans) needs to accept their "eye test" judgements, which so far have been favorable to ND. The computer models love ND even more than the committee does, so I don't see the argument.
