Assuming we get an away game... who is our preferred opponent?

Oklahoma is tough on D but anemic on O.

Mississippi is leaderless and probably has a few NIL transfers who will be uninspired.

Alabama is loaded with talent but inconsistent.

I don't see Georgia losing to Alabama again so that's no worry.

Texas Tech appears to be balance but hasn't played a real power.

Personally, I do not fear Indiana.

Of course if there's an upset that moves us up to #8 and we get a home game... I want Alabama in December.

Next weekend will be INTERESTING.

I wouldn’t assume an away game; I think there are enough rumors about Kiffin raiding the coaching staff and certain players (that will then opt out) leading to other players choosing to opt out, and those rumors will be used to justify knocking ole miss down to whatever visiting slot favors the best overall ratings scheme.
Combine that with losses by Alabama and BYU and we move up to Hosting.
Of course, wins by Alabama and BYU and we could be headed to the pop tarts bowl, especially if Duke wins and they bump Miami over us “because of head to head” but really so the ACC gets at least one team.

Miami is not jumping us if they lose to Duke

Miami isn’t playing duke; Virginia is.

If duke wins there’s a decent chance they will (and with all due respect they ought to) finish behind two G5 champs meaning the ACC gets entirely left out unless the committee plays games like justifying Miami over us.

Sorry, yes. In any event, I seriously doubt Miami jumps us

would LOVE to put a beat down on the Texas Tech coach...would also LOVE to play any other team we rarely get a chance to
Hotty Toddy ring a bell? Their BEST wins are friggen Oklahoma and Tulane (not a bullshit typo)

Ohio State hasn't played a complete offense, running and passing, like Indiana's this season, and...

certainly not a complete team, offensively and defensively, like Indiana. I can see either team winning that game. Georgia is offensively challenged against a breathing defense and Alabama has already beaten Georgia at Georgia this season. It too could go either way.

I don't see how 0u would score on us, unless we give them something defensively

Their offense is non-existent. They were lucky to win that LSU game.

We are big favorites against OU.

We are a top 5 team right now in my opinion.
