I doubt the committee will drop Bama, even if Georgia destroys them, because the committee has made it clear losing in the conference championship game does not knock you out if you're in prior. Ironically, though, they could be ranked lower than ND if this happens. But...
If BYU wins, that knocks ND out, and the committee will have no choice but to rank Alabama ahead of ND. Logical? No, but we could see that.
