Social media is overwhelmed with arguments for why the Irish should not get in the playoffs AND with conjectures that the Irish are a team that could win it all.

I think this means that the committee has got it right.

Best evidence is the odds. Vegas has us tied with Georgia and Miami doesn't make the list.
