I think this outcome is likely. And it would be hard to argue it is wrong.

As did Texas Tech. Either will be pounded in the first round of the playoffs; that shit conference should not get two bids.

Miami lost to two teams that have a combined 8 losses. ND lost to two teams with a combined three losses. One due to a missed extra point and a fucking horrid missed holding call.

Not hard to argue, actually, see?

elevated Bama in case BYU wins and Bama loses, Bama can still be in. If it comes down to ND and Miami, ignoring head to head would be bad precedent.
