I think the committee used that rationale in excluding Miami last year, their defense wasn’t good. Based on the probability rates, we need Texas Tech to win. No matter what, I don’t think we get bumped above #10. Which would leave #11 for the ACC champ and #12 for the group of five rep or possibly two group of 5 teams if Duke wins. It would take Georgia absolutely pantsing Alabama for them to be knocked out. I think we are headed for a 16 team field.
