The current bowl for them will be...the Pop-Tarts Bowl.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame

The nation is salivating to watch Tulane, North Texas or James Madison be sacrificial lambs.

I love the pop-tarts bowl especially when they murder the pop-tart, BUT

if those commies at the Committee bounce us, I think we need to riot and burn down the pop-tarts bowl stadium.

What's the difference? We will be missing key players. They will be missing key players.

Some cheerleaders may even opt out. One of the top college teams in the country plays in Pop Tart Bowl. I know. Don't lose your first 2 games (true enough) or join a conference (NO!). Tulane, James Madison, 3 loss Bama, Duke. Auto bids have to go. Changing the rules on the fly has to go. Team jumping another team because of a 4th down "gutsy" call against a coachless 5-7 team. Is that part of the formula? When does the head to head rule kick in? Maybe, sometimes, never? That Hunter dude sounded like he belongs in DC with all that slobbering word salad.

Well done Emerson.

Have you seen how the ACC shows its "situation room" where replays are reviewed? It's intended to

generate faith in the replay process, but instead you watch it and think "these guys are getting paid for this, they are incompetent idiots".

I can't help but think there would be a similar feeling watching the CFP committee's deliberations. They seem to cloud pre-determined outcomes in twisted and inconsistent logic, and watching that live would either force them to have off-camera conversations, OR we would see the sausage being made and conclude that they are more corrupt and incompetent than FIFA and Congress.

This whole thing is a farce. AND the fact that it is tied to education and is tax-exempt is bananas.

Maybe at some schools but largely it is semi-pro football and basketball

Exactly right. The group dynamics in the replay room are really disturbing:

One guy always seizes immediate control (the guy who is standing and who apparently runs the equipment), and then does all the talking to coach the silent others to a decision that is by no means always evident from the film. There is never any disagreement, push-back, or discussion. It makes me feel like replay should be discarded altogether, and we just go with the on-field calls.
