The problem 1st 2 games was the failure to get the QB starter time last year.
Otherwise we dont call a vanilla game plan against Miami and likely beat them by 14.
Agree but even without experience they knew how good CJ was and they did not let him perform.
Would have helped the running game too if we loosened them up early.
Just comes down to you don't start a guy unless you're going to let them play. Especially against a
ranked team. Just piss poor decision making there thinking you beat them just running the ball and dinking and dunking all first half. Allowing them to stack the line. I'd say the only reason they took the handcuffs off was they were losing by 14 in the 3rd.

Scored plenty the second game….and, really in the first game as well. If the defense played like they were capable.
ND basically ceded the first half to Miami before taking the handcuffs off.
Turning him loose earlier also would have kept Miami off the field more.
The second game wasn't as bad. The defense sure did suck in both though.
