Anyone think if BYU loses a close game, the committee will still include them?

Texas Tech isn’t living up their billing so far, although they are winning close. Big 12 may be this year’s ACC. I hope it doesn’t happen that way because Clemson was hammered last year by Texas and SMU was pantsed also.

If the committee is watching a bunch of small/slow guys run around on both teams

And somehow thinks either of these teams are better than ND or Miami for that matter, then the committee has failed.

This will be their 4th win against a ranked team

Their QBs have thrown for more yards and their RBs have run for more yards.

Yeah they suck. Thats why they are 4th and a first round bye.

They would give us a run for our money. You’re lying if you say otherwise.

No, this is their 3rd ranked win and 2 are over the same team...

(so only 2 different teams Utah & BYU x 2) they only played a grand total of 4 different teams with winning records all season and lost to 1 of them.

They passed for 40 yards more per game, but did NOT rush for more yards than us, and this vs a weak conference and trash out of conference competition.

I'm not saying they "suck" but it's hard to tell how good they really are with everything they've done being against the Big 12 and only beating 3 different teams with winning records all season. No, they don't suck, but I think playing them would be like playing a slower USC with a much better coached defense. I think on a neutral field we get them by 7-14 pts.

BYU being ranked is generous

With a fullback at QB and TE’s for Wide Outs, they wouldn’t win 7 games in the Big 10.

I'm aware, but I'm just sticking with the black n white facts.

You don’t think TT has an excellent defense?

No but a close loss might keep them before Miami which is what we need

Nope. Lose and they’re out. Win and we’re out.

How? They didn't think a 1-loss BYU was better than ND, they're going to jump us with another loss??

Definitely can’t discount that. W/b more compelling if this was 1st time they played TT.
