Perhaps it's less to do with hate & more to do with an agenda of getting ND under the ESPN umbrella.
This is what happens when you (ND) are not an ESPN "property". Full court press by the ACC & ESPN to convince ND & its fanbase that ND has to be in a conference. It's been evident for a while the ESPNers have been repeating the same talking points ad nauseam.

That was blatant BS. Didn’t mention the 4th shared opponent ND crushed compared to Miami, the fact that Miami lost to 2 unranked opponents, and that loss at Miami almost wasn’t one and was a freshman Qb first start.
