Remember? Auburn beat Alabama in the Iron Bowl and the committee ranked them #4, Alabama #6.
Then Auburn lost to Georgia in the SEC championship game and the committee elevated Alabama into the playoff.

The committee ignored Auburn's head to head win and also dropped an "in" team from the playoff because they lost the SEC championship game.
