Sad that they'd protect a team that doesn't even want to be in the playoffs like that.

Look at Bama last 4 games and tell me with a straight face "They really want it"

They definitely have some cultural issues going on.

Between Deboer going for it on 4th & 2 from his own 12, with 8+ minutes left, their QB avoiding getting hit at all costs and their Oline not coming to their QB's aid when he got knocked on his ass after a play (which may be explained by the previous point), that locker room doesn't seem like a healthy place.

Miami has no fans. Hated even in Florida. Networks have a say!

I'm stunned by so many forecasts keeping Bama ahead of Miami

Over the last four games, Bama has not been a playoff team. Keeping them in is to protect conference championship game money-making, not picking the best teams now

Same, it should be Notre Dame & Miami, Bama doesn't even look interested in the playoffs.

Is a damn joke. They would be double digits underdogs to all the top 12 teams. Maybe 20+ point dogs.

If u get in top 12 so be it but to be 20th and get a bid due to some stupid inclusion rule is ridiculous

Same, although I think they'll stand on Miami missing the ACC conference championship.

While I personally think they should be in, don't lose to two unranked teams in the middle of the year, and don't miss your weak conference championship.

Of course, this also sews dissension in the ACC ranks, and creates animosity toward ND, which isn't lost.

It's ridiculous. Miami is clearly the better of those two. And Bama's had their shot.

That's why Bama is in over Miami.

Kind of reminds me of when Rocket Ismail played for Notre Dame
