Like March Madness, it’s healthy to include such teams.
College football is equally meaningful to schools from smaller conferences who have loyal fans and energetic programs,
I don’t have a problem with including JMU and Tulane, even if not one of top 12 teams in the nation.

Just posted below. The argument against the 12 best teams tanks with these teams in play
If anyone wants to complain, this is the issue.
Miami ND and Alabama all would get in.
Vanderbilt and Texas would hammer those schools.
