ND has record of 10-2 against FBS teams. Miami has a record of 9-2 against FBS teams. Their other win was against an FCS team, Bethune-Cookman. Wins against FCS teams are not supposed to be considered by the Playoff Committee. Therefore, Miami has one less "data point" or win than ND. All the clamor over "head-to-head has to count" should only apply when the two teams have the same overall record. None of the talking heads seem to remember this little detail.
The only data point the media morons can point to to put Miami ahead of ND is head to head.
playoffs. They started the season playing 3 straight FCS teams, which is criminal and should be a disqualifier.
