for this outcome. It was wildly assumed UGA would beat Alabama in SEC matchup as was assumed in the TT conference championship with BYU - Vegas had given good odds on Bama and UM to make the playoffs and distant odds for ND even before the Tide were moved up. How did the Vegas odds makers know this? Think about it.
The CFP had told Vegas their plan. This wasn’t a CFP committee that was interested in adjudicating a thoughtful playoffs rather to get Alabama back into the playoffs and an extra SEC team in creating greater revenue for the conference. The SEC execs have been fuming since Bama was neglected from last year’s run. And a side sinister note, this forces that stupid spin to have more weight that ND should join a conference, like everyone else making it ND’s fault they didn’t get in.
I posted similar and I get kwirish smart ass comment.
Y’all need to wake up.
ND was -3500 right before the pairings were announced.

Alabama was - 310 and Miami was +186. At -3500, ND is perceived as a virtual lock. Last night it was +710 to not make it. Vegas doesn't intend on giving out free money and having ND a YES at -3500, up from -1200 means that no one was betting on the no, or it would have dropped. The plus money was probably above +1000, so your theory sucks.

You are just spinning now because it is clear you were talking out your ass, got exposed, and now is trying to deflect.
It is clear you don't know shit about gambling, so stick to bad political takes.

they stunk their last four games and I mean doubly stunk yesterday I was hopeful they would go behind us. We haven't been blown out yet under Marcus. We lost a couple we shouldn't have but we did not get blown out and in fact have won against some quality opponents. Marcus has done a good job but he should never have had the kid gloves on CJ Carr in the first game. By doing that he took away both our passing and running game.

We got that changed but I think the conference schools didn’t like that. I agree something is not adding up and there a weaving narrative to justify it.
