The team decided no bowl game and I am fine with the decision. While, I always think the added practice time is a benefit, the chances of injury are also great for a game that does not matter. Bowls have lost their luster with the CFP as only the 12 spots matter anymore. I certainly hope Love does go to NY, if invited for the ceremony. I think his chance of winning has gone away, but the message he sends by declining an invite could harm his draft status. I would love to see him and Price return in 2026, but I think the money and status of the NFL draft will lure them both away. I want to thank the coaches and team for a great season. The honor of being a loyal ND backer never wavers in my family. Thank you for the thrills and, yes heartache of another football season. See you in 2026. Go Irish
After the first two games, most of us thought...Win out and we're in. It made every game exciting. And boy, did ND win. They dominated in a spectacular fashion. We were talking about resting Love and others during the last games to keep them fresh for the playoffs. We were speculating about who would ND play in the CFP. Even last night, Vegas had ND in.
What an abrupt letdown. No more Love, no more Price, no more ND football until next September. I'm sad but pissed off. I don't remember being pissed off at so many people at the same time: All of the CFP committee, Narduzzi and his big trap, Herbstreit who I rather enjoyed before this debacle (I hope his dog pisses on his leg), Yurocheck (can't stand his hypocritical face), Finebaum and his donkey shit ears, and many others.
I'll be watching Alabama and Miami and hope both get curb stomped in the first round. Don't care much about the rest.
Note, I agree Vegas had them as a virtual lock, but one idiot on here seems to think differently based on the odds Tuesday.
