the Champion...on the filed, or court. After watching several videos/podcasts regarding that decision...this one...from a former FSU DB, no less...stood out to me...especially given the very real chance this year's team had to be that Champion.
This current misguided, if not corrupt, arrangement must be broken up and replaced with one that focuses on the objective of finding a Champion...not pandering to self-interests.
These are the type of people who go to their ex-fiancé’s wedding after being cheated on because they do not have self-respect. Bowl games are meaningless now and I don’t begrudge any team or players opting out.
"So folks at @espn are upset ND isn’t playing in a bowl game after weeks of folks politicking against the lack of conference affiliation, using them as a pawn for their CFB playoff selection show, having the ACC network play the UM/ND game on repeat for 48 hours during Conf Champ week BUT now it’s a bad look they don’t want to serve ESPN’s best interest by playing in an exhibition bowl game? Got it." [Saw this on Pete Sampson's X/Twitter feed]

Beanie Wells thought ND got shafted also.

btw, given the amount of money involved here, and the heavy odor of corruption, one could imagine a fraud investigation being authorized...but let's save that for another day.
