The "committee" was hoping ND would lose or stumble........
So they would be eliminated organically. Once they figured out that would not happen , they stepped in and moved Bama up. And honestly, I think they realized that ND could win it all and upstage the SEC/ESPN coalition. They were probably also hoping Bama would win and/.or BYU. They didn't , so they did the unthinkable and left Bama in the same spot.

The combination of the "rankings" and "deliberations" amounted to fraud, pure and simple...
Moving Alabama off of Auburn performance makes no logical sense, Not moving them off of Georgia performance completed the crime...
(Miami wasn't right either...but the Irish opened the door for that adjunct hosing.)
