He relates our exclusion to our DEI culture and the emphasis on inclusion.

evident when after almost getting beat by 5-6 Auburn and still moving ahead of Notre Dame in the CFP rankings. The setup was completed by not dropping Alabama after they were killed by Georgia while rushing for 3 yards in the game. It was an ESPN scam and all their employees were forced to follow the script. The last 4 weeks or more Alabama was not a good team. I have no problem with Miami being ranked ahead of ND, I have a real problem with Alabama being ranked ahead of ND.
Tying Notre Dame’s exclusion to DEI is specious reasoning. It’s about the makeup and design of the CFP and the fact that the committee was wildly inconsistent and unduly influenced (i.e. BYU loss disqualifying, but Alabama’s was not. Head to head not being considered at all until yesterday, ACC and ESPN running an influence campaign with showing our game against Miami). It is just more garbage ND doesn’t need and Whitlock isn’t adding anything of value to the debate.
almost beat them. And followed that by not moving Alabama down after the terrible in the SEC Championship including rushing for 3 yards and getting whipped 28-7 in a game that wasn't that close. Also almost getting beat by South Carolina(5-6) not much before they played Auburn. Oh wait they were number 10 then. It was a form of DEI in the sense that Alabama had to be in the playoff.
