If you think this is just about football you are not paying attention. Apply the “Independence”
Section to: the US legal system, US healthcare system, US financial system and US education system.
The structure of the US as a whole promotes the “idea” of independence but empirically squashes and punishes anyone or anything that tries to live an independent life.
Our current state is one that harasses, suppresses, victimizes, and ostracizes anyone or anything with an ounce of independence thought.
