ESPN is a thief! It stole the bowls from us…

Liability though? Highly questionable at best, unfortunately.

I don’t think that’s a suit you either with the intent of winning. You enter the suit with the intent of exposing and settling.

I’d argue it as simple breach of contract.

The possible edits to Dan Patrick's interview of Bevacqua changes my tune.

Screwing someone by failing to follow a contract is one thing. Covering up the screwing is a different ball game.

That dog might hunt.

Alum attorneys to consider putting together a Civil Suit against them, with the goal of correcting this injustice for the future benefit of ALL college football competitors, as much as the financial compensation. We need to 'Clean out this Swamp'...

This suit would not be against any other University or Conference...just the "Bad Actors" in and around the Selection Committee that produced this travesty. Given all the impartial outrage I'm seeing, it wouldn't be hard to impanel a jury that would find in ND's favor.

Yes, this seems so unfair when you only look at it on an individual basis. Ie ND and Tosu both went to NC and both directly earned the same amount.

ND keeps all of theirs, Tosu shares theirs with the conference. But tell the rest of the story. How much money was shared WITH Tosu by all the other B1G teams vs how much was shared with ND from anyone else.

Last season the B1G received payments for 9 CFP games (vs ND's 4) and 8 additional bowl games from non CFP participants. Let's see the real numbers there, of what the total share for ALL B1G teams was, even the ones who sat at home on the couch.

ND gets nothing for sitting at home.

Agreed. That's what I'm saying. They want to see all the money go to the Conference and be disbursed

and the winning teams get more but the conference all gets some. With ND only ND gets some and no one else.

So, there is no cookie jar for people to stick their hand in.

Mush as they screwed us. We got a raw deal.

They look like idiots. The ACC looks horrific. It just hurts your head to realize the level of manipulation that went into this

Bama is far more entitled than anyone.

Tide went 9-3 against FBS competition (Eastern Ill), Miami 9-2 (Bethune-Cookman), ND 10-2 (all FBS). The CFP chair actually said that Bama showed grit in holding off (5-7) Auburn at the end in a one score game while ND merely took care of business against (4-8) Stanford (by 29 pts - and 43 pts until garage time). Heads, SEC wins, tails, rest of college football loses.

Thread Level: 4

The Committee operated in bad faith...and produced a conspicuously contrived outcome.
