I saw on twitter (where I don’t usually go) that the ACC accidentally cc’d ND on some emails about their social media campaign. Oops!
Also some reports that Phillips told the Poo Tart folks they’d be getting ND if Duke won the CG. So, he “knew” that ND was out beforehand.
Again, it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

I don’t think it’s an option at this point. There’s a reason Patrick’s comments got scrubbed from YouTube.
Have been knee deep in stuff and missed it.
that the committee was basically setting up ND for disappointment, using them as a prop to get people to watch the show. My belief originally was that the committee did want ND in but things kept going against the plan, and by the end, when Duke won, they had to put Miami in the field. However, hearing what Dan Patrick said and others are reporting that the ACC fucked up and sent out email to all members but ND, talking about ND, and then someone replied and included ND makes you wonder if it wasn't a sham all along.

doesn't that sort of imply that if Virginia won, then ND is safe and the ACC might have been OK with it. There would be no need to send that out or even qualify it with "if Duke wins" if the decision had already been made to flip ND/Miami. I think it would've been even harder to argue 2 ACC teams in the 12-team field was deserved over the current shit show they have now.
Edit: I guess looking at where Virginia went, ND could have gone to the Gator bowl instead. Either way, still incriminating if true.
