AP poll, coaches poll and BCS (hypothetical) rankings.

I'm not sure this question was asked to the committee: Why is the CFP the only one to leave ND out when all the other polls have them in?

https://sportsdata.usatoday.com/football/ncaaf/coaches-poll
https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/ap-top-25-poll-college-football-rankings-cfp-bracket-indiana/
https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/news/college-football/heres-how-the-final-cfp-bracket-compares-to-simulated-bcs-rankings/

IMO, this shows that the CFP committee is heavily influenced by outside noise. Has anyone seen this asked by someone to the CFP committee?

ESPN/SEC control the CFP and engineered the outcome they wanted. Playoffs are now officially a sham

No justification for Alabama to move up two spots in last two weeks at all. None.

They finished with Eastern Illinois (FCS fluffer), lackluster performance against a bad (5-7) and head coach-less Auburn, and a stomping by Georgia...but moved up two spots. All other CCG losers moved down a spot. There is no explaining that...outside of a fix...which is what happened.

(It was also done to ensure an ACC team got in...but that is ancillary.)

Louisiana Monroe and Eastern Illinois. They essentially only played 10 games. Last Georgia game

apparently didn't count for anything. So why not dock them for playing 2 less power 5 games?

Their scheduling just further exposes a Finebaum as the homer tool he is...and always has been.

His latest rant is that ND has lousy TV Ratings.

I don't know how you factor in viewership if it is streamed or watched in a bar. But we're in the top 5 either way.

The other factor is National viewership. Are TVs in the Northeast tuned to Alabama every weekend?

Highly doubtful.

Finebaum is the Don Cherry of NCAAF.

I hate it when people spew stupidity simply to be rabble-rousers of the throng that agrees with them. So many politicians and celebrities are like that anymore.

personal incentive can make a great number of people squint their eyes differently.

There are many faults with the CFP committee, but having members on it who can benefit financially based on the teams they select has to be the worst one.

Didn’t adding Alabama give the SEC $14 -$16 M to split?
