48 hours. Arraigned today. Probably a Home Invasion with some type of assault. This
is based on some of the reports anyway. We do know reporting isn’t always accurate.

I don't know the law in Michigan, but I wonder if it's personal safety/wellness.
He was reported as suicidal before and during the arrest. I don't know why charges haven't been filed, but he was clearly not well when he was taken into custody, and a danger to himself.
That makes sense, and provides the legal basis to detain him.

The publicity and notoriety can be overwhelming, when the reality of the consequences comes to light in such an abrupt manner.
