This whole thing's a sad mess.
I hate Michigan as much as anyone else, but there are innocent people involved in this whose lives are in shambles, at least for the short-term. I'm not personally cheering this disaster on.
It also sounds like this coach wasn't fully vetted by the university before his promotion, and probably never should have been in a position of that much authority.
