While losing some great players, this also opens up portal options. Curious to see how they manage.
Malachi Fields, for example. I think he was a portal guy that was a great fit and addition. Davonte (SP) Smith, pretty good add but was banged up a bit.
At QB, wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t pick up a journeyman as a backup just in case.

Freshmen Noah Grubbs and potentially Teddy Jerrard as well.
CMF has said repeatedly he wants 4 schollie QB's on the roster, so where that 4th comes from if Jerrard doesn't reclassify, who knows.

For sure, losing Minchey is a huge blow, but he's a starting caliber QB that deserves
a shot somewhere.
