I think the price for experienced transfer portal QBs goes up with every pass he throws.
However, they won impressively in their two really big games and are rightfully lauded for their performance.
The conferences are so big, nobody plays anyone. They have 1-3 name teams on their schedules, and some opponents like Penn State may have a down year or year in transition.
It’s tough to tell who’s good under the current format. Every team pretty much plays mostly cupcakes.
To IU’s credit in this new age of college football, when you can make the final score as lopsided as possible, do it. That’s the world we live in.

Take a look at IU’s nonconfernce schedule. It’s a joke they scheduled wins/body bag games
They aren’t to be commended for that, but they will be copied for that.
ND would play these teams, they don’t want to play us.
They want an easy path as possible to 10-2, and a possible playoff birth.

When the next big scandal, probably gambling, hits College Football, USC will be right in the center of it; as they have been in all recent such events from cheating officials (60's) to academic standards (90's).
Lots of tremdous memories, players, coaches, and games in this rivalry series. The landscape of modern college football will take some getting used, if that's even possible.
