Oklahoma/Alabama 14.9 million
Miami/A&M 14.8 million

2024 ND/Indiana 13.39 million

The other 2 games were pitiful: Ole Miss pulled 6.2 million and Oregon nabbed 4.4 million. The NFL crushed them: Philadelphia/Washington had 15.46 million and Chicago/Green Bay had 21.34 million.

Also, they changed their rating system apparently College Football is rating higher this year

The numbers would have likely been the same under the old rating systems but as you mention, it was a hyper regional match up. Not the best for ratings.
