It’s a particular mockery of a game. No serious program should play in these sham bowls.
Going forward, participation in these bowls versus the CFP bowls will distinguish the tier 1 programs from the semi-pros.

If GaTech wins, then Notre Dame scheduled games with that weak-ass BYU to pad their schedule.
If BYU wins, then GaTech was part of that weak-ass ACC conference that Notre Dame pads its schedule with.
Now BYU jumps us in the rankings right?
They beat a ranked team.

There was a list going around - must’ve had
20-30 names in it. Guys going to draft(Love, Price, Eli, etc) plus a lot of guys who are dinged up - who would have played through the pain in cfp, but would sit out and get more healing time if ND went to a lesser bowl game.
Here is a list from BR which is transfers only so there must be another 9 to 18 going to the NFL ?
