It’s a particular mockery of a game. No serious program should play in these sham bowls.

Going forward, participation in these bowls versus the CFP bowls will distinguish the tier 1 programs from the semi-pros.

Imposing corporate abuse, neglect and greed on deserving victims.

But we are the ones being mocked.

Being mocked by clowns shouldn't mean anything...

Of course...if the cacophony of the clowns has an impact on revenue...then there's an issue...

Happy to stop watching after the Sham Selection. Would have created a quandary….

If GaTech wins, then Notre Dame scheduled games with that weak-ass BYU to pad their schedule.

If BYU wins, then GaTech was part of that weak-ass ACC conference that Notre Dame pads its schedule with.

Now BYU jumps us in the rankings right?

I would have enjoyed seeing ND smoke one of these teams!

We’d have a bunch of guys sitting out for the NFL draft. Wouldn’t be the same team.

And if we were upset the media would say it was proof we didn’t belong in the CFP.

Let the players rest, let the portal become clearer.

20-30 names in it. Guys going to draft(Love, Price, Eli, etc) plus a lot of guys who are dinged up - who would have played through the pain in cfp, but would sit out and get more healing time if ND went to a lesser bowl game.

“Several Notre Dame football players have entered the transfer portal during the current 2025-2026 offseason, including quarterbacks Kenny Minchey and Anthony Rezac, running back Gi'Bran Payne, kicker Marcello Diomede, cornerback Chance Tucker, and safeties JaDon Blair, Ben Minich, Taebron Bennie-Powell, and Karson Hobbs. The official transfer portal window for most players runs from January 2 through January 16. “
