It’s pretty obvious the committee messed up picking the teams. Should have picked ND

ND/Miami should have been 7/8 followed by Bama/OK and the 2 shit schools

We just need to go back to computer rankings and eliminate the selection for drama and ratings BS

How does she know? How does she know that maybe ND doesn't beat OSU by more? If the committee was so confident in their pick, why not have that confidence all season? Why do the media insist it was ND and Miami and refute the claim it was all about ND and Bama? All the media now feel vindicated and we now have to put up with Wilbon, Klatt, and the rest of these talking heads until the 2026 selection Sunday. It's not so much that they have free reign to say these things, it's the fact that they are never challenged right there on the spot.

Losing to two unranked teams is valued highly by the committee.

Exactly I have been saying since this bs started that the narrative should have been ND/Alabama.

And possibly Oklahoma.

Oklahoma and Alabama are more questionable than Miami. Sec looks iffy in bowl season.

Let’s see if bama and ole miss put up a fight today

That's why the entire conference makes the playoffs. Playing the odds.

Meanwhile Miami is 2-0 and Alabama won.

Kind of a dumb comment

Thread Level: 3

Of course Ohio State should have been in. The argument is among Alabama, ND and Oklahoma. I think

that was pure, biased contrivance. period.

both teams should have been in over any of bama, jmu, or tulane.

period.

ND has improved dramatically since then.

I stand by my statement. ND should have been selected.

You can play your way out of a bad seed, but can’t obviously without an invitation.

You jump to conclusions on who should be left out. ND should have be in. Quite obvious to all.

IMHO, The committee treats that 13th data point without downside ramifications, and it messes up the selection process.

Bottom line: ND should have been included, and some of these teams aren’t very good

Haven't the two teams picked ahead of them gone 3-0 so far?

We are all pissed ND is not playing, and yes the committee played games with the rankings at the end, but so far, Alabama and Miami have done nothing to make the committee look bad, outside of what they did to themselves.

Thread Level: 3

Yep. No justification for the sham selection….

any at-large team losing in the first round is underserving in your eyes. That is an impossible standard for the committee to overcome, regardless of their bullshit at the end of the year.

Thread Level: 5

True, but they also lost badly to unranked Florida State & crappy Okla team

And got blown out by Georgia. How many chances to prove yourself do you get? Apparently if your an SEC team it's unlimited.

Agreed. ND would have won that game too. That first round bye can be a killer.
