NCAA must reign in NIL

I have heard Mark Cuban has kicked into a potential 40Mil. budget at IU which includes coaching money.
Charlie Baker is useless and gutless. I have known him since his CEO days at Harvard-Pilgrim Health.
At major universities they won't even go to any classes. All will be on line and handled by student handlers.
I remember talking to former ND captain, Phil Sheridan in late 60s. I think he was '65.
He mentioned how in his lifetime colleges will be like AAA baseball. That was decades ago.
He is correct, but AAA on steroids. Are kids student-athletes anymore. SEC and rogue schools like an Oklahoma State will be out of control.

B1G and SEC don't want that, at least not for themselves.

He’s definitely donating but doubt it’s anywhere close to that number.

a decade

The boosters funding coaches has been there forever in different forms. I remember in TX, they would have to do a radio show once a week that essentially paid the reported salary of the coach.

The NCAA has no power over NIL. Any attempt to do so would violate antitrust.

Any limits on NIL will have to come from the conferences—which is just like the foxes being in charge of the hen house.
