How long is Marcus going to be around and is 26 the chips all in year?
Have been wondering this given 1. Marcus announcing he’s staying and 2. Loss of what I would think are DL we’d have paid to stay.
I assume if the right NFL job opens next year, he's gone.
Then it's either Lea or Elko taking over.
I think we have him for 1 more year, 2 tops.
I’d be ok with Lea or Elko next.
It seems like we persuaded him to stick around at a cost, but given the interest, keeping him long term seems next to impossible.
What leads you to believe he has NFL aspirations? Good agents listen to all offers, but does not
mean there must be interest.

No doubt they do, but seems like ND has gotten more comfortable with portal.
It was only a couple of years ago that ND would only take what seemed to be grad transfers.

As long as the kid is on pace to graduate in 4 years, with transferable credits,
ND can take him. Maybe admin has loosened up on that, but that's always been the obstacle to getting undergrads in.
Seems like a much more flexible application, which is good.
