Notre Dame is 24-4 over the last 2 seasons with the following 4 losses:
•Lost to Tosu in the NC game
•Lost by 1 point to CFP Texas A&M
•Lost by 3 points to CFP Miami
•Lost by 2 points on last second FG to NIU
Who gives a shit about his first season, it was first year ever as a HC and he managed 9 wins with Buchner/Pyne as QBs.
In his first 4 full seasons he has a winning percentage of .796%, why don't you see where that stacks up vs prior ND coaches? or how many years did it take for BK to stack consecutive 10 win seasons? BK achieved his 3rd 10 win season at ND in his 8th year and achieved his first back to back 10 win seasons in year 9.
Freeman already has 3x 10 wins seasons and 3 consecutive in his 4th year and was honestly a back to back playoff team if committee didn't commit blatant fraud.
Our program is BY FAR in its best state since Holtz prime years of 88-93... acting like losing him would not be terrible is incredibly naive.
The evidence is that they just ponied up more $$$ for him.

So compare what Freeman has done, with some context, to the other HCs from ND's past... he's got nearly an .800 win percent, that's kinda up there.

Said make playoffs or bust...some said win a game in playoff s or season would be considered a disappointment...any way you slice it wasn't a decent coaching job not good or great b-
playoffs might have the longest winning streak.

Oh that’s right! Because Marcus Freeman has built up a top 4 roster and has gotten the school officials on the same page for once.
He is quite clearly at the very top echelon of cfb coaches.
He cannot control cfp committee corruption.
