To the degree the sport separates from these institutions it is committing suicide.

No…the tradition they are killing is what separated it and made it special. A simple NFL minor…

Right now they are trading on the vestiges of what college football was (which admittedly was flawed). What we have now is an increasingly horrific abortion. Sad…
