A remarkable run is very likely to continue.

Starting in 2003, every #1 tight end on the ND depth chart has played in the NFL. In order: Anthony Fasano, John Carlson, Kyle Rudolph, Tyler Eiifert, Troy Niklas, Ben Koyak, Durham Smythe, Alize Mack, Brock Wright, Cole Kmet, Tommy Tremble, Michael Mayer and Mitchell Evans. According to the early analyses, Eli Raridon is projected to be a mid-round pick this year, so the ND streak appears to be in a great position to continue.

By the way, the last figures that I saw of the universities that have produced the most NFL players have ND in 1st place with 644, with the next three being USC – 582, Ohio State – 564 and Michigan – 484.
