Shouldn't have lost the first two games, we all know, but they were more deserving than The Crimson Fraud. No way around that one...
Not that it matters much now, but it is a ridiculous and revealing job by the 'sports journalists' of America. This is what ND has to battle every year, as this year's CFP decisions once again illustrated. I once believed that having a cool coach like MF, as opposed to Kelly, might change this, but that appears to be wrong.
