Perhaps I have been wrong about Cignetti. Loves beer, too - hard to dislike that.

Looks like he had the Irish higher than any other coach in the poll. Pretty objective.

"I've never seen 'Rudy' and I never will. I hate Notre Dame." F that cranky POS.

That's a silly lie. Even haters have seen Rudy.

No doubt, Alabama had four losses and some ranked them in the top ten.

No wonder so many coaches get fired every year.

Thread Level: 2

I would tape this on the door next year and hang 70 on every coach we face who ranked us lower thn 9

If it's any consolation, me & the guys at Hank & Casey's Tap ranked the Irish at #2.

I’ve read some stories about that area finally starting to be cleaned up.

It depends on what one considers cleaned up.

The city is on the move tearing down empty, abandoned, and burned out homes and buildings. Murder is down. Crime is down. Other than US Steel, downtown Gary has no industry, no shopping, no nice eateries. Mostly block after block of some small businesses. Stop lights down the main drag haven't worked for years because of the cost. Been replaced by stop signs (better than those European roundabouts). Many in Gary, including the local radio station and newspaper, still suffer big time from the victim mentality The state of Indiana is on the hunt to get the Bears to move to NW Indiana. They have formed a commission and the power to buy potential property. . Gary has a new mayor who is trying . ND architecture school is designing a new and exciting plan for the downtown area. We'll see. Still a ton of victimhood coming out of the residents though. There is an area along Lake Michigan with lakeside homes that Illinois residents buy up as their weekend and summer homes.

Where are these homes exactly? Even with a “Gary” address people are attracted?
