"According to emails obtained via Freedom of Information Act request, UA System president Jay Silveria asked Robinson and Yurachek on Nov. 20 to “present options to add roughly $15M to the Football program. This can be done as two plans that are $5M from the [athletics department] and $10M from other sources within the University outside the [athletics department]. It can also be done as one plan that amounts to $15M.”

The leadership vacuum is truly debilitating.

cold confines of South Bend. Our ability to make the school affordable for everyone will no longer exist. Colleges that give up sports on a competitive level and survive are few and far between. At that point we may have to become a party school. We have the best of both worlds now, why give that up.

Notre Dame is academically elite without football. Just a cut below most Ivy's and Stanford.
