IL started with hype then got exposed. DC to Coordinator says it all.
Guy is trying to re-establish himself presumably where he is most competent. We’ll see, but the downgrade alone raises questions.

You're referring to him like he was fired. You're right that his competency is as a DB coach, not a
DC. He chose to leave his position at Illinois and join ND. Maybe he does feel more comfortable coaching DBs than running the whole D. He is still a young coach. If he does well here, he will probably get another opportunity to be a DC.
