He needs to get on with his life’s work.

I wish him well, but it’s time to leave the nest.

That's fine, just don't hurt the football team. I was one who thought he would be great and always

stuck up for him. Unfortunately he messed up a key play on being the holder. I mean who knows if A & M wouldn't have been able to drive the length of the field anyway. I respected his comeback after the bad interception against South Carolina but the holder should be able to execute on a very good snap. I do love his attitude, but attitude does not trump execution. He came through on the fake punt play against USC and it was a big play that gave us huge momentum.

Need his experience in a QB room of 17/18 yr old kids w/o a pass attempt, he was a Bowl game MVP.

That QB coach changing his throwing motion should be FIRED but 300yds 5TDs in a Bowl is 💪

He led the GW drive, and threw 3 career pick 6s but you can't really fault him for the 100yd return.

First off, he’s only ok at lacrosse. More importantly, lacrosse is pretty rough and increases likelihood of injury.

Resulted in a TD. Cost us the playoffs. Shueler on the same play missed an opportunity to break up the play and/or make an INT. That cost us the playoffs.

Should we replace them?

How many snaps did Tyler handle and how many missed holds did he have in 2025?

If Tyler handles the snap, we should assume then that A&M doesn't drive down the field and score and if Tyler handles the snap our defense actually does make a stop on that final A&M scoring drive. Then, the way our defense was playing, we should assume if Tyler handles the snap, A&M doesn't score at will in OT. And Tyler's mishandle was on the minds of the committee that protected Bama and kept ND out. To put the whole season on one play by one player in the second game of the season is so Irish Nationish. I think MF would agree there were other plays that should have been made that could have won the game vs Miami and A&M. The defense was lost and confused and that's what lost the games to Miami and A&M IMHO.

Thread Level: 8

We lost the Miami game bc we decided NOT to feature Love, and A&M due to lapses and a blown call

That was a pretty key one though on a very basic play. That was strictly poor execution rather than
