Best Lou Holtz Moment?

Mine was when he had his last game at home against Rutgers. He truly loves ND, not just the football team. I didn’t realize it at the time, but I think he should have been allowed to coach as long as he wanted. A close second is “Save Jimmy Johnson’s ass for me!”

ND lineman gets a PF penalty. Lou runs on the field, grabs his facemask and drags him off the field.

That's your best Lou moment? Even Holtz said that he regretted doing that. It wasn't a good look

Lou was embarrassed by that and apologized to the kid’s parents

Hardly his best moment.

The best was when he went off on those refs VS Mich in the 88 opener. Dumbass ref missed the call...

Maybe not favorite, but on the short list.

Evil preaches tolerance until it is dominant, then it tries to silence good.

I don't know if he got away with it. ND got a 15yd penalty for it. Lou didn't get ejected, so, maybe

I always love when Lou talks about his faith and his devotion to the Blessed Mother.
