Despite the messy way the Olsens left ND during Willingham's tenure, you never wish this on any family. Let perpetual light shine upon him
Link: Chris Olsen
Christian was here a year as an heralded recruit, was a very promising QB, and was competing for a spot around the days of Carlyle Holliday and I think the arrival of Brady Quinn. He felt he did not fit in at Notre Dame—never quite gelled with student body, the cold, the gray. I remember it as homesick-type angst (even though he did not return home) as opposed to any hard feelings with football. His younger brother Greg followed him to Notre Dame that spring, but then they both transferred. Chris to UVA, and Greg to Miami. I don’t remember it being particularly messy but probably was since Greg had just arrived and this was well before kids were free to move around.

Neil Worden, who is believed to be the oldest living NFL player, will soon be turning 95. Neil played in the murderous1953 backfield along side Lattner, Heap, & Guglielmi. There was a really nice feature on Neil this morning as some get ready to watch the Super Bowl.
