Remember him when I was coaching AAU T&F, could flat out fly (10.30/20.88) but under-utilized at AU

Interesting to have a coach who could compete for fastest on the team RIGHT NOW.

I tend to think that less talented but successful players make better coaches.

They had to compensate for lack of individual physical talent with smart, "football speed." ... anticipating and/or running the right direction from the snap because they knew they couldn't compensate/adjust with talent later in the play. Those types of individuals are more likely to have, and be able to teach, the best techniques.

Recruit talent; teach technique.
